On October 29th we celebrated El Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) at the Ogden Museum of Southern Art, featuring Los Primos Mariachi New Orleans. To honor this ancient Mexican tradition, guests dressed as Catrinas or Catrinos, created paper marigold flowers for our community ofrenda (altar), had their faces painted by Anamaria Andrade (sponsored by the NOHHF), and joined us for a fun, festive evening.
